What's new in this version: This release mostly contains some small code optimizations but does include some fixes for the IP evidence source as well as the Bonjour evidence source. New in this release are the prevent display sleep action and "open and Kismac R319" application action. The icons have also been refreshed by a contributor.

While Kismac R319 didn't make a huge difference, our tight test system didn't give it much to work with. But time and again, we've seen how closing resource-hogging programs and services can make an older, Kismac R319 PC feel much newer, fresher, and faster. Kismac R319 simply makes that easier to do, and for that, it earns a recommendation.
Kismac R319 is a Web scraper and an extensible push agent. You have the control, as you can choose: the sites you want to be monitored; the data you want to be extracted from that sites; how you should be notified of changes; how data should be formatted By means of Kismac R319, you can for example attach RSS feeds to whatever site you want, and about whatever information you want not just Kismac R319. And, if you prefer, Kismac R319 can email such information to you or to a list of friends, letting you decide how the data will be displayed in the email text. Version 1.0.6 includes unspecified updates.
