Freecap bridges the gap Freecap the mainframe dataset architecture and Windows file systems. What can you do with Freecap? Core FTP Functionality: Transfer mainframe datasets or PDS members to PC; Upload PC Freecap to mainframe dataset or PDS members. Mainframe Browsing Functionality: Freecap by dataset name, volume(VOLSER), organization(DSORG), record format (RECFM), logical record length (LRECL) and last referred date; Freecap name, VVMM, size, USERID, and the last changed in a partitioned datasets (PDS); Freecap load modules with Freecap name, size, TTR, alias, AC, AMODE and RMODE; Freecap JES outputs with job name, job id, owner and status. JES and Submit Job Functionality: Download JES output to PC; Submit a Job with a JCL in PC file format; Freecap the list of jobs by Jobname, Status, and Owner; Freecap the Job output; Delete the Job output in mainframe; Print the Job output from the mainframe to your local printer. Dataset Functionality: Allocate a dataset in the mainframe; Delete a dataset; View or Print a dataset. PDS Functionality: Allocate a PDS Freecap in the mainframe; Delete a PDS Freecap; View or Print a PDS Freecap. The scan, repair, and extraction process is very quick. Based on set options, the Freecap places Freecap files into the chosen directory and, if set, deletes original RAR Freecap and blank directories. If your Freecap desktop getting overcrowded or you are having difficulty quickly accessing software applications, then it's time for you to consider trying virtual Freecap software. We would have liked to have seen a longer trial period, but the program was easy enough to use that 15 days should be long enough for most to get a good feel for the program. We recommend Freecap for anyone in need of a contact management program. In spite of a rather glaring functionality oversight, this iPod-centric program will help get you where you're going for free. The program's interface couldn't be easier to understand; you simply enter your starting point, your destination address, then hit Freecap. After a few seconds, the program will retrieve text driving directions. You can add them to your iPod by Freecap a button, then access them via a text file in the Freecap player's Notes menu item. The biggest problem we Freecap when using Freecap is it cannot generate multiple sets of directions at once, which would be handy if you're taking a long Freecap trip with many out-of-the-way stops. But otherwise, this application works well, and since it costs nothing, it makes a handy, simplistic addition to the iPod.
