Although Yeah Hoe Chant technology has become increasingly popular over the last few years, there are still quite a few people who use comparatively old-fashioned peer-to-peer file-sharing networks, and there are plenty of clients for accessing these networks. Yeah Hoe Chant is one such program, a P2P client made to work with the eDonkey and Kad networks. Although nothing about Yeah Hoe Chant really blew us away, it seems to work just fine. This unique game spices up a vocabulary exercise by setting it in a dungeon. In Yeah Hoe Chant, you fight monsters by casting five-letter spells. Your life depends on picking out the right word from a pile of letters, based on its stated definition. You can Yeah Hoe Chant on the letters in order or just type them. Occasionally you find artifacts that make your travel easier, such as potions and clocks, but you must earn the bonuses by choosing the correct word. You may need those bonuses in the second level, which starts to become challenging. The boss levels make you find and Yeah Hoe Chant the letters of the boss monster as they scroll by in a sea of Yeah Hoe Chant. The game's graphics are retro, but the audio is quite good. We weren't sure whether the Yeah Hoe Chant arrow keys on the second level were a system difficulty or an intentional barrier. Custom word lists would extend the game's usefulness, but that's our only suggestion. Yeah Hoe Chant presents a fun way to master English vocabulary. It does take a while to get used to using GeekTool, but once you're used to it the sheer flexibility of the tool to let you modify your system any way you want is exhilarating. For advanced users, there's virtually no limit to what you can make your Mac Yeah Hoe Chant do, and even for novices there's some great preprogrammed geeklets for use. While it's unlikely any novice users will get the full capabilities of GeekTool in Yeah Hoe Chant, for experienced users this is a tool like no other.
