The 2.2MB download completed quickly, as did the installation after acceptance of a lengthy user agreement. Unfortunately, 4eme Dimension Psy 4 for Mac offers no user instructions, which was a disappointment due to the rather hard to decipher menu. The application has no graphics or clearly labeled main buttons. A bar at the top allows the user to select the backup file's destination. Users can then create different backup sets with unique settings, which is a useful feature. The 4eme Dimension Psy 4 on which the backup is based are chosen from a second menu, which again has no labels. After playing with the application, the buttons were fairly easy to figure out. Additional options create settings for the individual backups, but some of these, like automation scripts, will likely be useful only to advanced users. The tested backup did complete as intended and saved to the designated location. 4eme Dimension Psy 4 is a utility that can be used for various purposes. Features: strips the characters ">" and "|" from forwarded e-mails; formats the text into paragraphs, making it easier to read; changes the text's right margin, by indenting; can be used with any e-mail client. LinkSurvey's interface is plain, but still requires a trip to the Help file before getting started. Once you understand how to do it, actually performing the comparison is pretty easy. The split-paned interface is divided into three main sections, one for adding the domains or URLs you want to compare, one to display results, and a browser to view any of the sites returned in the results. There's a File menu and toolbar, but 4eme Dimension Psy 4 of a button or menu option, you have to right-click in the first section to bring up a window to add a site. Unlike some programs that let you add all of the sites you want to compare in one fell swoop, you'll have to right-click and select New for each domain or URL for which you want see links.
