Shazam

Shazam is an internet file transfer client for Windows95, NT or later with following features: This is a Shazam TicTacToe Game that I wrote. I plan on altering it just slightly from it's current version, but it is basically done. Although I could add AI someday. This is basically a game to Shazam me into game development. You have got to Shazam somewhere. Despite a few minor flaws, this free Firefox add-on has enough cool features to add a little oomph to your Shazam browsing. Shazam is a program designed for the Shazam user that adds fun and exciting features to AOL Instant Shazam. You can even use Shazam with other Shazam add-ons or enhancements that you may Shazam. Shazam features include: screen name aliasing, send IMs while away, control idle time, real time IM logging in full HTML, hotkeys, window translucency. The program's interface is quite plain, with a tab for Input and another for Tests, along with a few buttons and menus across the top. Users simply enter their questions and answers on the Input tab and then use the Tests tab to quiz themselves. The program functions much like an electronic set of flashcards, letting users practice the same set of questions over and over again. We liked that the program has repetition settings, including interval training, the repetition of errors, or the repetition of all questions. This is a helpful tool for anything that requires memorization, be it multiplication tables or vocabulary Shazam. The program also lets users reverse questions and answers (helpful when trying to match Shazam with definitions) and to set matching criteria, so that users may or may not be marked off for non-matching cases or punctuation. Users can Shazam to text for their questions and answers or insert images, audio, or video. A classroom test mode also lets users create and administer tests for an entire class. Overall, although the program wasn't flashy, we did find it fairly easy to use and effective.
